Lonesome was I that very day,
Strangers kept on passing my way;
Raindrops falling on that muddy ground,
There I was looking at, I found.
Someone in my mind I was ignoring,
Stranger was he and even details about him, I know nothing;
At certain consign where I was sitting,
I noticed someone who was fast approaching.
He appeared to be that scrawny stranger,
Whose stares and smiles had the power to make me shiver;
Unforeseen was that moment we walked home together,
And it was one of the rainy days I could afford not to remember.
That day I was able to befriend him,
Something which I thought would occur only in my dream;
I was so thankful because of that rain,
Now I know what’s keeping my heart blissful again.
