OBSCURE

Noises were all around the classroom,

Each faces I observed as I let my eyes roam;

Some ten or fifteen minutes later,

The back door opened then entered a stranger.

I never thought that everything would change,

Just because I let my curiosities prevail;

Each day when I found myself deciphering his personalities,

The more I brought myself to some sort of other stupidities.

I ended up liking him,

Finding the details even his name;

This is where my inquisitiveness brought me,

There’s no escape.

I fell in some sort of trap,

Now this feeling I can’t even stop.

The bizarre sensation needs to disappear,

Never will I be carried away whenever he stares;

I never know what each stares and glares could have meant;

And it will forever be a question inside my head.

I looked at him and he looked at me,

Beneath our eyes what could the reason be?

That whenever our eyes met, there is some sort of connection,

No matter how silent our environment is, I always feel our eyes are having conversation.

God has his reasons and answers that in his hands he holds,

Why are we feeling this way neither one of us can decode;

As long as he keeps hiding underneath those tinted glasses,

There’s no way I’ll figure out

And it’ll only make me restless.

Whether or not to pursue this, I’m so unsure,

When will I ever find the answers when everything’s obscure?
